Format of the Event
The format of the event has been designed to be open and inclusive, allowing for the participation of a broad range of attendees—from distinguished Polish economists living abroad to representatives of various sectors of the economy and academia in Poland. As a high-profile event, the Congress serves not only as a platform for the exchange of knowledge between theorists and practitioners, but also as a space for fostering dialogue and collaboration between different academic and business communities. Thanks to this inclusive format, the Congress becomes a unique forum for inspiration and intellectual exchange, effectively addressing the challenges of the modern world.
Congress Framework
The vision of the 11th Congress of Polish Economists was developed by the Program Council, which represents a broad spectrum of the economics community—including not only individuals affiliated with the Polish Economic Society (PTE) and its Scientific Council, but also experts from outside the organization. The Congress is envisioned as an open forum for all economists—both members of PTE and those unaffiliated with it. It offers a unique opportunity for the exchange of ideas between theorists and practitioners, economists representing diverse academic institutions and schools of economic thought, as well as scholars from other scientific disciplines.

Pre-Congress Events
The 11th Congress of Polish Economists is preceded by numerous events organized by the Polish Economic Society (PTE) in 2024 and 2025, including seminars and debates, such as the “Thursdays with Economists” series and the “Polish Economics Through Personalities” series. Detailed reports from these meetings are published on the PTE website, and selected materials also appear in the PTE Bulletin, serving as a valuable source of information and inspiration for the economics community as well as a broader audience interested in contemporary economic issues (see more about PTE).
