Prof. Dani Rodrik, Harvard University

Dani Rodrik is the Ford Foundation Professor of International Political Economy at the Harvard Kennedy School. He is a renowned author with numerous publications in economic development, international economics, and political economy. His current research focuses on employment and economic growth in both developing and advanced economies.

Academic Career

Professor Rodrik has received numerous prestigious awards, including the inaugural Albert O. Hirschman Prize awarded by the Social Science Research Council, and the Princess of Asturias Award in Social Sciences. He currently serves as the co-director of the Reimagining the Economy program at the Kennedy School and of the Economics for Inclusive Prosperity network. Between 2021 and 2023, he served as President of the International Economic Association (IEA) and co-founded the IEA-WE (Women in Leadership in Economics) initiative, promoting women’s participation in economic leadership.

Publications

His forthcoming book, titled “A World of Shared Prosperity: Saving the Climate, the Middle Class, and Developing Countries in the Post-Industrial Age”, will be published in 2025.
